The University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur, founded in 1963, is part of the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland, with a current total enrolment of 4,200 students, and campuses in four different cities (St. Gallen, Rapperswil, Buchs, and Chur). At the University of Applied Science HTW Chur itself, 1,400 students are currently enrolled in five Bachelor programs and seven Master programs. The seven institutes at the university are actively involved in applied research and development to ensure the transfer of knowledge, know how and technology to the Swiss economy.
The HTW Chur BSc in Tourism pgrogram represents an excellent foundation for meaningful, challenging, and rewarding employment in the tourism and leisure industry. During the study, students go on study excursions in small groups. They are free to choose any destination around the world and organize the trip by themselves. Of course they also choose a group leader from among the fun-loving and travel-happy lecturers.
